Embracing Confidence: Tanya’s Sexy Boudoir Experience at Liz by Design Photography
In the realm of boudoir photography, every click of the camera unveils a narrative of empowerment and self-assurance. At Liz by Design Photography, we believe that every individual possesses a unique allure waiting to be celebrated. Tanya, a remarkable woman who gracefully danced through her boudoir session, stands as a testament to this belief.
Tanya’s journey with us began as a tentative step towards self-discovery. Battling with self-esteem issues in the past, she embarked on this photographic odyssey with a blend of apprehension and anticipation. As her boudoir photographer, it was not merely about capturing her physical essence; it was about unraveling the layers of her confidence and showcasing the beauty that resides within.
During the session, Tanya effortlessly exuded poise and elegance, transforming each frame into a canvas of empowerment. With every click, she embraced her femininity, shattering the shackles of doubt that once bound her spirit. It was a mesmerizing sight to witness her metamorphosis—a journey from self-doubt to self-love, captured through the lens of empowerment.
Tanya own words are shared below regarding her sexy boudoir experience at Liz by Design Photography in Atlanta:
“It’s a new year and I’m sure you all are recovering from post holiday exhaustion. Maybe not feeling your best. I want to share something I wrote to help lift up other women.
The last year has been a real journey of discovering “me.” It began with my first boudoir photoshoot as a surprise gift for my husband. I was nervous. I barely liked that way I looked fully clothed on a good day… much less nearly naked.
But I finally realized, I’m not the only woman with insecurities. I might never feel like my body is photo ready. My body insecurities, may be different from another woman’s, but everyone’s personal insecurities ARE valid to them. Thick, thin, muscular, curvy, tall short… it seems women always have something we don’t feel great about when it comes to the way we look. We have to love our bodies first. We have to stop being so hard on ourselves!
I found a photographer who had a style I loved. She had a wide range ladies she had worked with in her portfolio. Women in their 20’s and all the way up, different sizes, shapes, skin tones… so this made me feel more confident. Honestly, I had been wanting to have a boudoir session done for years… but I never felt confident enough. I kept telling myself, “I’ll do it when I feel good about my body.”
My first boudoir session a year ago made me so confident in myself! I couldn’t believe that I could… and did look so freaking good! At first I was nervous, but my photographer made me feel so calm and relaxed. She guided me through the process with poses, facial expressions, wardrobe selections… it was much easier and fulfilling than I ever would have imagined. And I was a whole new me after seeing my photos…
A year later… I had to do it again. I’m so glad I did. I was even more confident this time around. I was relaxed and absolutely FULL of myself! It’s like I believed I was a professional model!
You’re probably wondering why I’m sharing this possibly odd or TMI story….
I have struggled with my body image and self confidence my entire life. Never feeling good enough, because I legitimately felt that the way I looked, impacted everything about me. But I was wrong. I was wrong about how I looked. I WAS being too hard on myself. Now do I have moments where I fall back into that habit? Yes, but I quickly recover when I look at the images I had taken. Images that originally were for my husband as a Valentine’s Day gift last year… but now I think I have these photos taken for me.
I NEEDED to see myself in a different light through a different lens. My husband has always been my biggest fan no matter how I’ve looked. I was happy to see his reaction, but I was honestly more in awe of myself.
If you’re on the fence about a boudoir photoshoot, do it. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Do your research. Find a photographer you like. With a style and portfolio you admire. This second photoshoot was definitely more for ME. My husband just benefited from it!
Thank you coming to my TED talk. — —.”
