what to expect at your family session

 I always joke that I can tell when a dad has been tortured with family portrait sessions as a kid. During my family photography sessions, my goal is to help create a future where dads-to-be grow up actually enjoying family photo sessions with their own families.

Other than providing captivating family photos, my main focus is making sure that you have a fun experience as we’re making memories for your family and capturing the real moments you’re sharing together.

During family sessions, I like to include both candid and portrait style photographs so you get the best of both worlds – fun, playful, or silly photos along with traditional, posed photos with your family looking at the camera.

I’m also able to offer unique locations for shoots that are exclusive to Liz by Design, so you can be certain that your family photos will be special and unique.  In addition to restricted access locations, I am also licensed to use a wide variety of public shooting locations.

At the end of every single full session I offer (headshots excluded), we will go through the best photographs from your shoot together and you get to pick what you want from those – this way, you’re able to choose the photos that you like best and purchase prints of your very favorites, all in one easy conversation.
